1949 : Creation of the Rubbertex Company on the basis of the technical experience acquired by the Compagnia Italiana Gomma, an old family firm that was well known in the rubberised fabric sector.

2007 : Rubbertex is sold to an Italian industrial group in the framework of an industrial project aimed at creating a new competitor of European dimensions in the field of rubberised, coated and calendered fabrics.

2008 : New Rubbertex plc is set up in new premises situated in Borgaro Torinese. A vast plan of technical and technological investments includes the acquisition of new production lines and the installation of an innovative system of discharge treatment in order to meet environmental requirements.

2009 : New Rubbertex enters the Bobet Group. By evolving in an organisational context of an international nature that covers the whole European continent and offers a very large range of rubberised, coated and calendered fabrics, New Rubbertex has considerably reinforced its technical skills and production capacity.
